Abstract Algebra Recitations
A set of active-learning style recitation projects to accompany a first course in abstract algebra following the fourth edition of Beachy and Blair. We tested these out for two sections of Math 145 at Tufts in Fall 2021, and found them to be quite successful. Students tackled the projects in groups of 3 or 4 and most made it about halfway through each project. There is enough material to keep even the fastest students engaged through the period, and the extra material is useful for students wanting extra practice following recitation. There are certainly typos, but TeX is included to make them fixable.
Review sheets
Some reference sheets I wrote while taking classes in undergrad. If they seem useful, consider making your own too: making the sheets was the most educational part.
